3 minute read

To save you time and get to the big screen for live sport (and a pint), here’s a list of some of the best sports bars in Singapore. Watch rugby, cricket, soccer, football and other sports, and have fun (finally!). Most of these venues offer decent happy hours, and some also offer drink specials during games!

Singapore Sports Bars

BQ Bar for several sports at the same time

With the ability to broadcast multiple sports at the same time on multiple screens inside the bar, on the terrace and along the side street, BQ is the true home of televised sports in Singapore! Team sports are the main draw, with evenings on site focusing on football of all kinds, including rugby union (Super Rugby), rugby league (NRL) and the Premier League. But come down during lunch and you can also play tennis or golf!

Molly Malone’s Irish Pub – a favorite for watching rugby

It’s no surprise that Molly’s is probably best known as a place to watch rugby, given that the general manager is a former professional Irish player. And the place also serves as a clubhouse for local team The Wanderers! But you’ll also find screens in three different rooms downstairs, as well as more upstairs (with darts and a pool table). As one of the best sports bars in Singapore, it also offers a host of other sports on its screens – football, Gaelic football, Formula 1 and AFL (Aussie Rules) are just a few which appear regularly!

You can see your favorite team on multiple 75 inch LED screens and 150 inch projection screens. So, no more struggling to find the best vantage point in the house!

Watch out for fun food promotions with certain sporting events, though their regular menu will satisfy with its bold smoky flavors and hearty portions. Plus, the bar offers its own range of house craft beers, including lagers, IPAs and more.
